I just purchased the EA Active for DH and I to use with our Wii (I got it more for him since he is not really into working out I thought he might like this better). I did get an extra band pack so we could do it together, but so far we haven't.
We both decided to do their 30-day fitness challange. DH loved it, he is all about how many trophies he can earn per workout and how much he can get his projected calorie burn over their estimate. I was feeling like I needed a change in my fitness routine so that is why I'm doing it.
If anyone is debating on making the purchase or not it is fun.
Re: Just got the EA Active
I've done 4 days of the 30 day challange now and I have to say I'm a little sore (and I typically do the 30DS or something similar 5 days a week). This works you in a different way than I am used to, you do the movements slower and are able to do really good form and hold the movements.
One of the things I don't like is there are some transations between exercises where they show you a little demo of how to do the movement. I want to keep going and not let my heart-rate come down, you can skip them though. And once you do a movement once or twice they don't show the how-to any more.
Oh, DH is still super excited to do it, which is plus for the program because he does not enjoy working out. I'll let you know in another week or so if we are both still so into it.
