So there's a news story floating around about an HIV outbreak in the porn industry.
It got me thinking, if you received a phone call from someone stating that a person from your past (that you slept with, no condom) had HIV, and then found out you had HIV (assuming you didn't already know), would you ask someone from the CDC to all the person/people that you had unsafe sex with after the person you contracted it from or would you call them yourself? If the CDC calls, I guess they have the option of doing it so that no names are disclosed, in which case you would have to contact every person you ever had unprotected sex with.
I know it's a stretch, but I don't think I could call people. I'd have to rely on a medical professional to contact them. The overwhelming guilt would probably leave me without a voice.
