Do you think today is too early to make cupcakes to be served on Sunday??? I am thinking it would be fine.. hrmmm!!!
Re: Cupcakes 2 days ahead?
Agreed! And maybe don't put icing on them until the day of.
Mom, why are you washing my feed in the sink?!
Definitely ok just make sure they are in an air tight container and covered. Don't ice them unless you are using royal icing as buttercream icing needs to stay in the fridge.
why would you use royal icing on cupcakes. It would be all hard and nasty.
If you are using shortening/margarine/butter ie north american style buttercream, it won't be an issue to store at room temp. But if you're making a swiss or italian buttercream, it definitely needs to go in the fridge.
