So our friends have asked if they can come at 3 instead of 12noon for lunch.
3 p.m. is a really awkward time, so I 've had to rework my brunch menu and make it seem less breakfast-y. (I've deleted the scones and yogurt-berry parfaits).
I feel like this is missing something, am I cracking up?
Croque monsieur
Tomato tarte tatin (basically a tomato, goat cheese, olive tapenade tart)
Plain croissants and baguettes with jams
Cheese plate
Savoury pistachio and chorizo cake
Heirloom tomatoes carpaccio (olive oil, vinegar, basil, pine nuts)
Dessert:
Mexican snowballs (ice cream balls coated with cinnamon and coconut)
Berries
Re: Brunch menu 2.0 - does this work?
Nat, there is no question you'd be a great guest, please come
Honestly though it's time we hang out again!
MMMM....sounds yummy....
I'm intrigued by the pistachio and chorizo cake...I can't seem to wrap my mind around what that would be like.
Say the word and Miss D and I will be glad to get together!
