POLL: Where will you be in 10 years?
LOVED the poll below.
So...What will you be doing in June 2019?
me: My boys will be 12 and 11 (YIKES) and every year during summer vacation, I will ask them where in the world they want to travel. They will research the place, and what we will do while there.
My in-laws (our best babysitters) will still be alive and healthy. I will have learned to speak better Spanish. (so far, even Dora has me stumped.) My husband will still be madly in love with me, but how could he not be? I lost the extra 20 pounds I was carrying around in 2009/2010, and have been fit and hot ever since ;0)
Re: POLL: Where will you be in 10 years?
I will have been working for 20 years! Yowza! I'm hoping to maybe have a consultant position by that time, with the school board. I'm still not sure though, because I like the front line work with all the kids.
DH will have finally foudn a job that he loves and is passionate about and is stable!
My son will just be finishing up Grade 4. And my next child will be going in to Gr. 1 or 2. They will be hilarious, active, content and confident children.
We will have re-done our basement, have almost paid off our mortgage and be totally debt free.
Wow GREAT poll! It scared me to think about, is that bad?
I guess not bad scary, just unknown scary!
In 10 years, Jayden will be turning 11. We will have child #2, hopefully my little girl!, and he/she will be 8/9/10ish. Jason and I will be living back in the states somewhere, as football will be done. Jason will be finished with law school, and will be working as the brilliant lawyer I know he will be someday. I will be either still working in fitness, or will have returned to school and will be working as a Physician's Assistant. We will be happy and healthy and loving life as a family!
DH and I will have a couple young kids. Ideally we'd be in Calgary, DH will have started his own business and I am satisfied in my career working a secure job.
Great Poll - I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has to say...
In 10 years... little one #1 will be 10 and if there's a #2 they will be 8? We'll be living closer to our families, debt free (aside mortgage) and will have been able to start really travelling again with the kids... ideally gearing up to head back to Australia. We can't wait to show them the world already.
For us, hopefully we'll both in jobs that we like if not love and our families will all be healthy and happy.
Hmm....
Maybe a kidlet... if not (twins...damn family history)
Um... be living debt free with a beautiful cottage.
Would like to think we will still be able to do a trip or two.
I would like to go to europe with infant and hubby... will see how that pans out.
Hope that DH is happy with the job he is doing if he decided to go to Hydro this year or wait and go back to school to be a Paramedic;
I would like to be working for CAS or be finishing schooling to be a spec.ed teacher!
I'd like to be living in the same city (likely bigger house), and same place of work, but in a more senior role.
I would also like to be planning a big family trip for summer 2019. I never traveled as a kid and it's something I really hope we're able to do with our kids.
Oh and I hope my hair is still red. I had a friend's mom tell me once that she used to have lovely red hair, and it went gray at 35, which seemed really old at the time (I think I was 12, lol) but now that I'm in my mid-20's it sure doesn't seem so far away!
