Um...awesome!!

Today is payday. I look forward to it just as much as the next person. I was especially impatient today to see if this would be the check that has my 6+hrs of OT!! So i had DH turn the computer on as i was getting ready. I log in to my bank account and i see my paycheck...and then another one that's about half the amount!! I'm bewildered, excited, confused...i show DH and he's like 'hm...another bonus?'. But we already got those. I try not to get my hopes up as i'm *sure* it's some sort of mistake.

I get to work and i email the 2 girls i know in HR and ask them about it. One of them emails me back and says it's a 'present' from the company cuz i'm not getting insurance (i switched DH's insurance once we married cuz it's waaaaaaay cheaper!). I seriously thought she was joking so i was like 'huh?'. Turns out, it costs the company *a lot* of money to insure it's employees. So the fact that i opt to *not* have insurance saves them money...so they pay the favor back to me! Literally. Big Smile
