Need bachelorette party ideas!
I am trying to plan a bachelorette party around Dallas for this upcoming August, but I'm from Iowa and don't know too much about the area. ?Does anyone have any really great ideas? ?The one I'm planning it for has a few ideas, but I don't want her to have to plan it all. ?I'm open to all ideas and we're a pretty fun group, primarily women in their 20's. ?Please help me out!
Re: Need bachelorette party ideas!
Well, a couple of standards are to:
1) go to Pete's Piano Bar in Addison. ?They charge a cover, the drinks are expensive, you'll probably want to reserve tables and you'll need to be there by 8, but it's very entertaining and raunchy. ?They cater especially to bachelorette parties when they come through. ?Plus, there's plenty of other bars and restaurants close by if you want to have dinner somewhere or hit a few other bars before calling it a night.
2) The Rose Room in Station 4 (Village Station) is a drag show inside a gay dance club down in the Oak Lawn area. ?Both the club and the show are a ton of fun if you wanna do something a little different but still have the option to dance.?
I didn't want to do the bar scene for my bach party so we did a private pole dance class. It was a blast.
For Dallas, go to The Girls Room.

This is really far from dallas... but Splitsville is SO MUCH FUN. ?(in the arlington highlands shopping center...) ?I haven't had my bachelorette party yet.. but in a few weeks were renting a limo and heading out there. ?It is a good 45 minute drive from my place in Addison...
Bowling sounds lame but it is SO MUCH FUN - the place is awesome, the food is great, and the atmosphere is even better!!!?
All good ideas - they are actually opening a Splittsville in Dallas in the North Park area any day now. I would imagine by August it would be open.
Rose Room & Girls Room are good ideas, too.
Every time I have been to Pete's there has been people throwing up in trash cans - a little gross.
Just a heads up - you'll need reservations for any of these activities.
My friend wanted to go to The Southern Junction and then riding around in the limo. It was pretty fun.
I went to Petes. It was a blast.
My sister refuses to go to bars so her and I went to The Melting Pot. That was fun and if I had it to do over I would just one big party there. Lots of fun and it is low key.
?
I think she's hoping to do a little of everything except low-key. ?;-) ?She talked about doing a little bar-hopping, but we don't want to go crazy. ?And she wants to dress fun (fake eyelashes, fishnet tights, etc) and it will be a lingerie party. ?I think it's going to be a fun group. ?I like the pole dancing idea! ?:-) ?And I think she did mention the piano bar, but bowling sounds like a ton of fun too! ?All great ideas so thank you so much. ?I'm getting excited!?
