D is feeling better, but has had some skin issues - she has eczema at times on her forehead but it seems that having her ears pierced and sleeping on the one ear more has provoked a surface reaction on that one side. Plus, she has a yucky rubbing irritation from her diaper rubbing against her tummy when she sits and plays.
Time to move to cloth diapers for sure - she needs something that breathes. I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing in how I'm treating the skin. She seems so sensitive!
Re: off to the doctor
Thanks!
Her eye is all better - the doctor said it could've been teething, a short virus, or allergies. He said the weird thing with teething is it can ecompass hundreds of behaviours/reactions/symptoms, and the only way you know it was teething is after the tooth pops up.
Turns out the skin stuff is atopic dermatitis (eczema), but not the same type of eczema (contact dermatitis) as her forehead. He gave me some cream to treat both areas.
I hope it helps - her ear irritation looks yucky.
