hi there..i just saw the replies in the other posts on NYC tips for walking tours...thanks for those I will check them out.
but on top of that any good recs for something to do this Sunday afternoon June 21?? we are hitting the Guggenhiem specifically for the Frank Lloyd Wright exhibit in the morning but i am realizing now that won't take us all day as I thought.....we are hoping for nice weather so don't want to do two museums in one day if it is nice. we can just cruise through Central Park (is the zoo worth it there? we have been to the D.C. zoo a zillion times so not sure if it is worth the trip).
We did Top of the Rock before as well a strolled through Times Square and Rockfeller Center so those aren't in top of our list. I am hoping to find a street fair or something. We might just head down to Little Italy and see what we can see but wanted some good direction in case I am missing the obivous. I love to shop but am not interested in spending all day in stores, i can do that here just fine.
i can tell you anything you want to know about visiting DC in return ![]()
Re: repost: Sunday afternoon
there is, under the brooklyn side. i've lived here for 9 years and still haven't been. i haven't walked the bridge since that being part of my commute home on september 11th.?
you could also just walk around central park and have a picnic.
if you want to do a food tour, page me and i'll give you the info for the wine & dessert tour of the upper west side DH took me & ?my bff on last year. great tour and, of course, very yummy.
HTH!?
?
The CP Zoo is cute! ?Nothing spectacular, but enough to keep you busy for a while.
?Also, check out this site. ?Looks like there are a bunch of street fairs while you're here!
