i didnt realize your due date is this week!!! how cool. your nerves must be off the wall! are you doing anything to get that baby to come out?
are you packed for hospital?
Re: holy crap, TONI!!
Yea - I'm on an emotional rollercoaster! I want him to be here, but I'm also scared. I'm trying to walk every day, but that's about it.
Yep - our bag is packed. We just need to throw some clothes in, but everything else is ready.
omigosh! crazy, crazy!!! i tried everything, but Harper was still 4 days late. I hope Jack comes on time for you. i recommend NOT trying to eat 7 pineapples a day- it doesnt work and will give you a bad stomach ache!
you will get a huge adrenaline rush once you start feeling real contractions...it will be this weird feeling like, "i am going to be a mama in the next 24 hrs, and i get to meet my little baby"...i think that is what makes the whole process doable!
to me the contractions were excrushiating, but the pushing/getting her out not so bad.
do you have plans for epideral or do you want to go natural?
Definitely getting the epidural!! Was it easy to time the contractions before you went to the hospital - and to know when to go?
I keep getting weird pain/pressure, but it's not painful. So I know it's not the real thing. But I'm hoping it means things are progressing.
I know I'll probably go late - I just dont want to go over a week late!
yes, the real contractions were easy to time and much more obvious than BH contractions. you will know!
that is good you are feeling pressure..his head is probably really low now. have you had an internal?
for me contractions did not start out painful (just a lot of pressure) and i really did not start feeling bad pain until about 10 hrs later (although my labor was 31 hrs from first contractions-until birth)...
my contractions started around 2 am, and I timed them for about 2 hrs (they came consistently every 3 minutes), then called dr, then took shower, then went to hospital around 6 am. i don't think i started feeling pain until around noon that day.
the epidural makes a HUGE difference and i didnt even feel the needle because my contraction pain was so bad!
i am sure you won't be over 1 week late...if anything probably just a few days.
keep us updated on any progress
