Off to Quebec City for 3 days...
with 150 grade 8s. Yup...I know you're all very jealous! It will also be the first time that I've left Ruari for more than overnight.
On a positive note, the kids have always been well behaved (in the past years that we've gone), and I really do like the staff I'm going with.

You are a brave soul... I went to Quebec City when I was in Grade 9, and we were far from well behaved. We may have discovered that you could buy booze at the corner store and locked ourselves in one room and drank our faces off almost every evening. We also wandered into a rough part of town and witnessed a stabbing.
So here's hoping your students are nothing like we were! Hope the trip is a blast.
Oh crap...they better not pull that!!!
Most of these kids have never been to Quebec City...let alone out of Ottawa, so they like to stick pretty tight to us. We're also going with a tour group, and they keep them so busy that they are exhausted when we get to the hotel.
Although last time I went (a few years ago) we teachers made a side trip to the depaneur for our beverages

I'd love a trip to QC, just not with 150 14 year olds. bah. As long as they're good kids, I bet it will be lots of fun.
I was gonna say be wary of the depaneur (spelling) our grade 8 grad trip was the Quebec City too and we found out very quickly how to get the booze to the rooms.
I loved Quebec though I keep asking the hubs to take me back there!
