Am I getting old!!
I feel like everything shockes me anymore...I was in Victoria's Secret and walked through the PINK section, which to me A LOT of middle and highschool girls wear. Don't get me wrong I have the sweats...but anyway, they had a short and tank set that had bikes all over it and it said "Ride Me". I was a little blown away...I mean yeah they have bikes on it to make you think differently but seriously!!! Young girls wear this stuff....can you imagine a 12 year old walking around in that! Even my fiancee was shocked by it and I kept joking that we are like two old prudes 
So am I really getting old at the age of 28 or would anyone else find this shocking!

I saw a shirt with the squiggly road sign on it and under it said "slippery when wet". I just couldn't understand who would honestly buy and wear that.
Also the little girls who are wearing the shorts with words on the butt also boggles my mind. Not my future spawn.

The things my little (15 year old) sister wears....no way would I allow it if she were my daughter!!
When I was her age I wouldn't have been allowed to leave the house! My dad has really gotten relaxed...

That's really horrible! I think that tweens and teenagers are waaaay too exposed to sex and things that imply sex. It's really sad.
There's no way that my daughter would be caught dead wearing anything like that. Hell, I wouldn't even wear anything like that!
Wow...I am definitely going to be "that uncool mom" who doesn't let her daughter wear certain things bc they are inappropriate.
I was at forever 21 shopping for a cheap shirt to wear out last month and I was blow away by how short the dresses and skirts were. I felt way to old to be shopping there and promptly left!
I cringe at 92% of the stuff my sister's SIL wears. She's 17, but she's not dressing any differently now than she was when I met her 3 years ago.
Girls are so much more advanced now than they were when I was a teenager (a bajillion years ago). It kills me that I only have a couple of years before I'm going to be dealing with this kind of stuff.
Haha...Ok good b/c I thought I was loosing it!! I feel so bad for young girls today...I mean I remember being 11-12 and how tough it was and wanting to be liked and what not and sex wasn't even an issue or thought of. Now they have to worry about boys wanting to have sex and the media and these clothes make it so much worse.
Krista: I definetly agree with you on the being a "mean mom" statement...but I think that's what people need to do. Parents are too worried about being cool and liked by their kids they forget to be parents.
The school I work at had feild day today where the kids go outside and have relay races and what not and you should of seen how many of the mom's were there in their 3 inch heels and their boobs hanging out!!! I mean seriously where do you think your going!!!!
