So how did that whole birthing thing go? Were you surprised when you went into labor? Etc etc? I know we're not a baby board but I for one would like to know how it went.

Here's the cliff notes version:
Water broke... totally worried it might be me peeing my pants, but luckily, it really was my water.
Get an epidural. Made everything go sooo much better.
After 14 hours of labor, I pushed an 8lb 7oz, 22 inch human being out of my vagina. Yea, I said it. vagina. I am constantly looking at her thinking, how the hell was I able to do it? lol
Oh, and the epidural helped with the stitches after she born. yikes.
So so so worth it all. It sounds so cliche, but I didnt know it was possible to love someone this much. Sorry Hubs. lol
I don't remember where I heard this, but someone said, "Giving birth is like pushing a bowling ball out of your nostril." It's always stuck with me.
Glad everything went well and you're both home!
