XP: PSA: Zicam...for those who haven't heard.
The news here states that the FDA is warning people to stop using certain forms of Zicam. I guess it is the gels and swabs. It is causing people to lose their sense of smell and taste for good. They are not being pulled from store shelves yet....but I would assume they soon will be.
If you use the forms of Zicam stated above, stop use and do some research to make sure it's safe!

I stopped using it when I read about complaints on the web. I swear I've lost part of my uber sensitive sense of smell but it might just be psychological. I used Zicam for 5 or 6 years daily b/c of my sinus polyps.
Lame.
