wedding album ?
How long did it take you to order your album? I feel like such a slacker that I havent given my choice of pics to my photographer yet. Did anyone else wait a substantial amount of time before ordering theirs? TIA

I was obsessed with my pictures and had my album order in less than 48hrs after my proofs came in the mail, lol. I know that is not typical but just remember -- the longer you wait to put it together the longer it takes to me made.
I've heard so many stories of brides who still dont have their albums back 1 yr + after their wedding. The photog has other people to work with so the longer you wait, the longer the line becomes to have it done.
Just pick a Sat or Sun and sit down with all of those proofs!!!
Here's how I did it:
1) Went through all proofs and took out pics I KNEW I didn't want. Set them aside.
2) Went through all of the pics I kept and seperated them into: before ceremony, ceremony, after ceremony & reception.
3) went through piles again and allowed myself a certain # of pictures to keep from each pile, set the rest aside.
4) Went through that pile again and made up my album, 2 parent albums and 12 brag books.
