1) What is your favorite thing to do during summer? Disneyland
2) What are you most looking forward to this summer? actually not much this year, we aren't going on vacation. I think maybe just going to Disneyland in the evening when it's cooler and watching the fireworks.
3) What is your favorite summer memory growing up? I have way too many! Ok, let see catching fireflys at night. All the awesome fireworks that you can buy in Indiana. My mom taking us on bike rides to have summer picnics in the middle of the countryside. We would have cucumber sandwiches! She's British.
4) What is your favorite summer memory from your "all grown up" years? (to make it more interesting weddings and birth of children doesn't count) hmmm, the summer right after we got engaged dh rigged up an outdoor movie experience in which he put a sheet up against the side of the house and hooked up the projector. We watched the old Disney movie Summer Magic on blankets and we sang along to the songs.
5) What is your favorite thing to eat during the summer? I will have dh BBQ steak and shrimp, along with veggies. Oh soo good and I make my tomato, cucumber, basil salad.
6) When do you think summer will actually get here? in the next couple of days, it seems like the cool weather is finally over.

2) What are you most looking forward to this summer? Our family vacation to Cancun we leave in a lil over a month! :0)
3) What is your favorite summer memory growing up? playing in the sprinklers with my cousins at my grandparents house
4) What is your favorite summer memory from your "all grown up" years? (to make it more interesting weddings and birth of children doesn't count) about 3 years ago we took the boys to Camp Land for my sons 7th bday the boys had an amazing time I love watching them play and lsitening to them talk to eachother. We slept in tents and BBQ'd and told stories around the campfire :0)
5) What is your favorite thing to eat during the summer? Watermellon basically anything refreshing
6) When do you think summer will actually get here? Hopefully soon :0)

You know it's interesting. I have tons of awesome memories of my mom doing stuff for us like the picnics and cucumber sandwiches but when I moved out here I wasn't that close with either of my parents. I was 18 and a punk teenager and practically was smilling with joy the day I moved into my dorm. I couldn't wait for them to get on their plane and go home. Sad but true.
I think I have become more close to my mom over the years since I left. I think I appreciate it more now, all of the things that they did for did for me growing up. My mom is quirky like how she sent letters to all of sponsors for the Letterman show because she didn't like his comment about Palin's daughter. Or when she starts talking about all her animals and ferrets. She recently went to the pet store and came home with mice because she didn't want them to become food. Now they have tons of baby mice!
My dad on the other hand is still odd. All he talks about is old mercedes and housing prices. He has a hard time showing affection.
Yep so I just realized that was a very long post and probably more than you want to know about my parents, haha.

1) What is your favorite thing to do during summer? Getting out of the house. It use to be going to the beach not sure what our new ritual will be.
2) What are you most looking forward to this summer? Everything. It's C first summer & ours as a family. I can't wait to start new family traditions.
3) What is your favorite summer memory growing up? Going to Ensenada. From the horse rides to catching sand crabs it was a blast. Except the time my brother fell, while holding a bag of "popper" fireworks. He burnt his arm.

6) When do you think summer will actually get here? I'm anxious for the summer in AZ. So, far the weather has been awesome. It's nice & breezy today. Hopefully it stays that way.

(to make it more interesting weddings and birth of children doesn't count) Toss up between the summer I turned 18 when I worked as a camp counselor with some great people and kids and also got a chance to go to the motherland or the first summer H and I dated when things still felt new
