I just counted...
I went on 16 Field trips this year. That was because I had two classes but that's NUTS. And to that I say buh-bye Kindergarten and hello Grade 3.
On another note. The position that I had been hired for was just until Christmas and now it's been extended until the end of the year. Oddly enough the person who I am taking over from (mat leave) is taking over my half-time K position (at different schools).

In our board, classes can do a max of 3 events per year (field trips, or bringing someone like a scientist/artist in).

Holy that's a lot of field trips! You must be glad you're moving to Gr 3.
