Wyatt is sick...kinda gross.
When we got Wyatt we pretty much knew he had worms. He is really skinny & has a big belly...but DH wanted the brown one. Yesterday we put him a big rubber maid tote bc we dont have a crate for him yet. When DH got home he had pooped in his crate. according to DH it looked like "spaghetti" because of all the worms that were in his poop (told ya it was gross)..soo he took him up to petsmart bc they have the vet up there... DH aunt is also a vet assitant and she said he may be anemic if you touch his gums and it takes a while for the color to come back he is anemic.. uhm his gums are WHITE... so the vet tested his poopy , and just chekd him out. so $134 bucks later Wyatt is on liquid vitamins twice a day, flea killer crap, and worm killer crap once a day- and he has diarrhea and it stinks and has worms in it. EW.
Sooo i told the neighbor who gave him to us that he is ate up with worms and he is anemic....there are still 4 puppies at her house- she goes "Oh, just give him some medicine he'll be fine" ....
ugh, i was irritated at her attitude about it. I don't expect anything from her- but i mean gees you could atleast take care of the puppies a little better! they obviously can't do anything!!!
so yah.. i have never had inside dogs, or puppies this young so this is a whole new world to me. i'm buggin out about Wyatt though, i'm afraid he is going to die!
but he was more playful last night and this morning then he was the first night. he was exploring all over the place this morning.
& Diva is jealous as hell. she is mad at DH, she won't listen to him what-so-ever.

Jena - sorry your neighbor is being so apathetic about it. That stinks. However, in my experience, MANY puppies get worms just because they taste, lick and chew on so much crap. Their little immune system just isn't used to all these new things yet.... so they get worms. It is super gross - but incrediably normal I think:)
Hopefully everything gets better quick. If he looks like he has worms in the future, don't spend the $$ on the vet. Just buy a dewormer and he should be good to go. GL honey!!

Not fun at all!
We took our puppy to the vet on Tuesday for shots and found out he has mange...umm ok. They said it is in his bloodlines so he didnt catch it by us. Now we have to give him the liquid meds everyday and watch him. So yesterday I get home from work and feed him like always. He doesnt eat...great. He usually eats his 2 cups of food in like a min. I start freaking out and his belly is looking bloated so I am like great. I decided he might just be really hot and I put him in the tub to cool off. It helped he was a different puppy afterwards and then he ate his dinner. So i think he was just miserably hot but we will see I dont want to give him his meds anymore...but i did last night.
