shoot! I just saw the post about my brothers graduation.
It was fab. He got to wear a gold sash for his GPA & got two medallions. One for his GPA & the other for band. He was top 20 out of 300! I was so proud. They released doves & I bawled like a baby.

Awesome! My brother didn't graduate and ended up finishing up at the continuation school so I never got to go to a graduation ceremony for him.
I'm assuming he has plans to continue on to college?

Yup. He's going to Long Beach community for his general, then transferring (He may change his mind before then) to cal state.

And I think he's an esp smart cookie for going to a JC first. But I am biased. (that's what I did)
It was a rare event but yes, I cried.
Well, he's going to JC because we harped him about going. JC = saving tons of moolah. oh em gee he actually listened.
JC is the way to go.
*This advice coming from the girl with the monthly student loan payment that is completely outrageous.
