So what are your Father's Day plans?
We are going to go to the Long Beach Aquarium since G's always wanted to go and they have a deal for $10 a person. Then we my MIL is coming over and we are going to G's choice of movie and dinner.
I just wish the new Transformer's movie was out because he's really looking forward to seeing that one.

There's an old school barber shop in the area. They have "the works" special. Haircut, close shave & a facial. I'm going to set an appt for him (on sat since they're closed sundays), the new madden game (i'll regret that later) & a a cute picture templete Val created (cute meaning I cried. who made fun of me for crying earlier? lol).

Becki - G picked out all his tools. The only thing he's getting that he hasn't seen are the pics.
DH didn't do anything for me on mother's day either! I was so dissapointed since it was my first. I'm having a really hard time getting over that and doing something nice for him! Father's day is also my birthday, so that makes me want to do even less.

G didn't do anything for our first anniversary (dating) and I was so upset.No t even a card. I waited till a few days later and then had a talk with him about how disappointed and hurt I was. He's never done anything like that again.
I sure wouldn't be going all out for him on FD if he didn't do anything for me on MD.
All MH wants to do that day is stay home and grill some steaks. ?He's so easy!
Yup, I said something to him about it. He said there was too much going on with the house to think about it (the flood had happened the week before and we were still in the hotel) and he figured that by him taking Sarah out that day (he does pretty much every Sunday, I take her on Saturday's and every other day of the week) that that was enough of a "gift". Of course this wasn't explained to me until a few days later...
Yeah...I'm still bitter about it...

aye aye captain! H has already threatened harm if I dont bring my camera. Ok not really harm but he's tired of me saying I forget to bring my camera to events. He gives me such a hard time about it mainly because he tells me I talked about wanting a camera for so long and he was a good H and got it for me for xmas and I never use it.

I'm in the same boat. I didn't get anything for V-day, my bday, mother's day or our anniversary. To be fair to DH I knew he was crappy about giving gifts when I was first started dating him.his family never celebrated anything. for his bday his mom would just give him some cash.
So for fathers day i'll probably get him an itunes gc and just spend the day relaxing at home
Um, yeah...I told him I was really hurt. He said he "didn't know what to do". Lamest. Excuse. EVER. I don't get it, because he's always been great at birthdays and anniversaries.
