How's everyone today?
I'm doing. I drank too much while watching Greg's double header last night, didn't get much sleep since we got home late, but am so freaking thankful that we're out today at 1:00!
I'm going home to take a nap and then we're probably going out to see a movie tonight for date night!
Re: TGIF, ladies!!
Morning.
I'm in a great mood because last night I got a $125 GC in the mail from our insurance company for participating in some Healthy Pregnancy program. Some program I didn't even know about. Woohoo for me!
Michelle: That's awesome!
I'm happy because we have power at the office today. It went out yesterday so I worked from home. I got a lot done but the whole time I wanted to be doing something else. Sigh. I'm so ready for the weekend but I think I might spend a big part of it working to catch up on some hours.
That sucks Heather. Was the appraisal a lot lower? If not maybe you could ask your Realtor to take a commission cut to help make up the difference. I'd do that for my clients. Maybe your Realtor can get with the listing agent on the house and work a deal on their commission to. I know times are tough but a lot of people would take a lesser cut to get a deal done since the market is bad. Good luck!
it's $8k lower then the offer we put it, which itself was $15k lower then the original asking price. the problem is that our mortgage company will not finance us at the current offer with out us putting up another $3k towards our down payment, which I'm not comfortable with since I don't want to pay more then the house is worth and use the money we were going to use to do some cosmetic fixes to pay the difference, we may lose the house over this and it sucks, since we've paid for the apprasial, inspection, and insurance. I'm just sick over the whole thing, the seller is being very unrealistic, he purchased the house three years ago as an investment property, hasn't put a dime into it and was trying to make $50k on it in this market, he's off his rocker. and no the realitor isn't helping, he's the sellers brother-in-law and the tenant is the realitor's step son, it's one big cluster-fvck
