housewarming gift?

my BIL and his family moved to Chesapeake, VA over the weekend.  what can i send as a gift?  i was going to send some cookies from Cheryl&Co...but wanted some more ideas to choose from.  any idea or websites you can suggest?

Re: housewarming gift?

  • I don't know that area very well but maybe a gift card to a restaurant that's in their new area that maybe wasn't in their old one?  Especially since so many restaurants now have gift card purchasing options on their web site.
  • What about Lobster Gram? That is a fun gift!!!

lobster gram?  what is that?...sounds fun!
  • I am in Chesapeake again for work.  There are lots of chain restaurants down here, maybe a gift card so they can take a break and go out?

We ate here this week, it was good. I will probably go there with DH this weekend. It is on Greenbrier in the mall parking lot.

There is a place called Joe's Crab Shack.  I haven't been there yet.

There is also a Sonic, it is conveniently next to Lowes and Home Depot.  I was bad and ate there last night.

There is the usual chains - Red Robin, Ruby Tuesday (love their new menu), Olive Garden, Smokey Bones, Texas Roadhouse, Panera, etc..
