**RENEA**

Hey!! i just saw your question from yesterdays morning post. first of all, how is the new place?? I hope its great and wonderful!!!  I hope your drive down was great too!!

As far as putting on makeup, I haven't gone to my school yet.  They are sending me in July, the 8th and 9th, but I don't know if it's neccesarily about how to put on makeup or more for selling the products, maybe both.  I learned how to do my own eye makeup (i still have no clue how to do a smoky eye or anythign) but here are a few tips I have learned since being on the job (and personal experience).

I usually use just 2 colors, obviously one lighter and one darker.  You can use three if you want a more dramatic look.  Use the lighter color all over your eyelid (from eye lashes to brow bone).  Then use the darker color from the eye lashes to the crease, then blend.  I usually go up and out at the corners with the darker color and then blend.  I sometimes apply my eyeliner first and then i have to go back over it after wards a little bit, but I'm not a huge fan of TONS of eyeliner, i'm def more of a natural eyeliner gal.

Also another good thing to use is a eyeshadow base, that way your eyeshadow will stay on really good and run together after several hours.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask!!!!

  • yes, the new place is very nice although right now totally disorganized since most of my stuff is in boxes.

I will try those maekup tips.  I do use an eyeshadow base, though not every day.  I just feel like when I see myself in pictures that it doesn't look like I'm wearing any makeup at all (which may just have to be the look I'm going for - lol).  So thanks!!!!
