This is something I have always said I would sign up for and then never have. Now with Allison being sick and likely needing a marrow transplant I've registered. Please consider registering ... it could literally save a life. Do it for Allison if nothing else.

I think it's great to be a donor! However, I don't understand why they want marrow donors, yet they charge you $100.00 to be one? I've never heard of being charged to donate anything outside of money.
ETA: is it for the cost of the kit and fees to mail it, etc?
