We have a wine tasting party tomorrow and I decided to go to Bevmo on my lunch to pick up a bottle. I wrote down the kind I needed a Trebbiano and headed on over there. I had to wait forever for someone to help me and wasted most of my lunch. Turns out they have one bottle left, so I buy it. I just took a look at the evite again to look at the time it starts and I notice at the bottom it states it needs to be French. My bottle Italian. UGH!!
Re: Ugh!!
What city do you work/live in? In Claremont there is Wine Merchants, they might have what you need, and they're really helpful. There's also WineStyles, but I've never been in there. You could also try Liquorama in Upland.
I don't know how strict your friends are about having the country they listed, but Trebbiano originated in Italy!!
I re-read it again and it's pretty clear:
About the wine: We are tasting Trebbian wine from France. In France this grape is also known by various names including Ugni Blanc and St. AE'milion. Other French names for this grape inclue Clairette Ronde and Clairette Rose - sometimes confusing because it's an entirely different variety called Clairette (Do not buy this kind).
I just noticed that is says you will need to plan ahead with this wine and do a little research.
This, I totally did not do! haha.
lol, that would work if someone actually got drunk.
We only try a tiny bit from each one and rank them. The rating system is actually pretty detailed like body, finish, aroma, appearance
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
