Checked out Studio Square on Friday night
It was so much fun. The space is just amazing. I love the way it's set up. Lots of tables per the usual beer garden, but then also some nice covered areas, indoor seating area, and a fire pit. Beer selection was nice. The food was pretty good. The best part was how clean and organized it was for being so busy and large. Lots of staff walking around making sure to collect pitchers, cups, etc. Individual bathrooms which were clean and staffed to make sure the line was expedited appropriately. At one point, the men's bank of bathrooms were also used for the girls to get the line moving quicker. It was definitely hopping. By 9, the sitting areas were completely filled but there was still lots of standing space for groups to be comfortable. All in all, a really great place.

liz - the beer garden in astoria used to be awesome but has been invaded by hipsters
also, it was never all that organized and with they can't really handle the influx of crowds well. if you go, go on like a tuesday nights. weekends are pyschotic. ?
