Re: I think the 70's died in this house

  • OMG those chairs are hilarious!  Can you imagine taking down all that wallpaper??  My arms hurt just thinking about it!
  • H and I were looking at the same house on a different street, but it just sold :(  It's huge and has a ton of potential, but they've got to be kidding with a price like that and all of that wallpaper/paneling.

I think it was listed up in the $380's last year.

  • Yeesh! I must admit - that kitchen looks very close to what mine looked like. The 70s were THRIVIN in my house prior to our renovations.

I love how there is a loose roll of TP on the bathroom counter. Seriously?!

  • I say leave the decor intact and make the 70's a new trend....easy peasy lemon squeezy!
  • holy purple velvet!!  wow, this house needs a major makeover.  you should buy it and apply to all those makeover tv shows.  i think you may have a great chance at winning a free redo with this house!

  • Wall paper is evil.  Trust me I know.  That kitchen kind of looks like my own.  =(
  • Wow - I cant believe their asking price with all those updates needed! That dining room set is unreal!
  • I think it would be funny to put in a lowball offer and ask for the furniture.  Or maybe just ask for the furniture...ha ha ha
  • that is so awesome...and horrific...
  • Wow, that's awesome in an awful way. I wish I had pictures from one of the open houses we went to 2-3 years ago before we bought our house. It had wood paneling and the same 70s floor to ceiling pole with 3 light bulbs that my grandparents had. But the best part was the basement. Part was finished and the other part was for storage. But the finished part had a painted mural on the wall, like a bad rendition of the Sound of Music scenery.
I'm pretty sure it's pronounced your mom's a moron and if you didn't have your name legally changed by the age of 22, so are you. Unless you're from another continent. -Groomz
