Let's see.. who did the weekend go? <scatching head>
Oh yea! Friday I stayed home and got drunky on a good bottle of riesling with H. Had the spins all night in bed
but luckly did not wake up hung over Sat.
Sat I had the day to myself and I got a bunch of misc. home stuff done that needed to be done around here. Highlight of my Sat- was that I finally bought a really nice cookware set I had been waiting a long time to buy. Not that exciting I know but it totally made me happy. I can be easily amused like that.
Sunday was BBQ with Mr. Kenny and my mom and then another BBQ with my IL's. I'm all BBQ'd out. I found out I'm going to be an auntie again!
Happy Monday everyone- here's to a work week that mosies right along!
I've been up since 12:30am with a teething baby that refused to sleep, so my morning is sucking so far!
My weekend was good though! Saturday saw Dirty Dancing... loved it! Yesterday we were in Newport, then relaxed at home. It was a nice quiet day!
This week I've got nothing until a hubby-and-kid-free weekend!!
weekend was completely uneventful, consisting of house work and consuming too much beer on sat night.
this week - I'm off to san antonio tomorrow and wednesday and hoping not to melt or sweat to death the rest of the week. it's triple digits here and it's not going to get any cooler until september. FML.
Friday: Sarah Dessen signing! Fun!
Sat: Spent the day shopping with my mama, then dinner w/ both of my parents
Sun: Nothing much
This week...summer school. Blahhhh.
This morning I already locked myself out of the classroom and then forgot my computer power cord. Yay Monday!
had a great dinner friday with a fun group of friends.
went to a super awkward and uncomfortable family party on saturday, but made up for it with a yummy dinner for the hub's uncle's 50th at north woods inn in covina.
spent all day yesterday coughing and hacking, while the bean ran a low-grade fever. we haven't been sick in two years. boo.
and now, i'm at the office, spreading my germs.
Fri: had lunch with friends and hung out with J at night
Sat: I slept in and skipped yoga. I then went to a GTG here where you make your own chocolates. It was fun and sooo good! Went out for drinks with one of the girls which led to our H's meeting us for dinner in downtown Orlando.
Sun: We didn't do much during the day but went to a friends house for a True Blood party. She cooked dinner and we all watched it. Everyone hated it except her and I (the true addicts).
This week is weird. It's DH's bday tomorrow but he won't be here. I need to get ready for Ottawa and I have a few dr. appts.
Friday: Farewell dinner for Trish.
Saturday: Did laundry, slept a lot, missed the breakfast club, slept some more, missed a birthday party, slept some more.
Sunday: Brunch with dad at Jar, househunting for dad.
This week will be our last installation of our introductory photography class. There may also be some happy hour festivities.
Fri - exercised the dogs, Flame Broiler dinner, watched Soul Food again (I think)
Sat - Toastmasters meeting, lunch with DH, mall shopping with DH, grocery shopping at Ranch 99 with DH and we got huge crabs!, got a few shiny new books
Sun - ran, major dog park time with mboc, lunch with mboc, grocery shopping with mboc, grilled steaks and rice for dinner. Plenty of blueberry pom margys (lost count).
I also got in some studying, surprisingly.
Fri - pup injured his paw so our plans got shot
Sat - kept close eye on pup while watching crap tv and FBing then went to HB to watch H's friend's band play
Sun - took a pup who was feeling much better to the doggy beach with the ILs for a father's day picnic
This wk working from home in the afternoon (yay!) and counting down the days until my Palm Springs wkend!
Friday: Hung out with R's stepmom, uncle, and his partner until the wee hours of the morning.
Saturday: Worked around the house, built a twin sized quilt (blocking complete)
Sunday: Friend's BBQ, nearly completed a crib quilt.
This week: ultrasound on Wednesday to finally "confirm" bedrest wasn't needed, Friday I should officially in the legal sense be a free woman.

Weekend consisted of lots of cooking and good times with friends and family. The highlight was definitely the huge Father's day shindig that my Dad had at his house yesterday complete with a FUG bellydancer, a DJ, and some guy busting out Indian songs on the mic. Good timez.

I had to ask my H what day it was this morning. The perks of being on summer vacation.
Friday, we picked up my mom from the airport, greeting at airport went like this....
<first time my mom is seeing her grandchild and me in months>
mom: Hi!!!!!!!! Oh my gosh, baby is so big!! <looks at me> And you're so big!! It's okay, we'll lose weight together.
This is going to be one long month. ugghhh.
Other than the whole mom being here judging everything I'm eating (b/c I'm breastfeeding and she's really just looking out for the my child's best interest), weekend was fab.

Friday: got Thai takeout and watched movies at home
Saturday: Ran 6 miles, saw The Hangover, took pup to vet, BBQ'd & watched a scary movie with H
Sunday: Ran 9 miles, hung out at the beach all day, went to get margies and ceviche, and then came home and watched yet another movie before crashing.

Friday my roommate had some friends over and made super bomb chicken enchiladas and margies.
Saturday went to a punk show and after party in Anaheim and had all kinds of fun, made new friends, all that good stuff.
Yesterday I went to a Father's Day BBQ with SO which was also quite enjoyable.
This week I have a lot of crap to take care of and am dreading the coming weekend like you would not believe. I kind of just want to go to sleep and wake up next Monday.
Oh hell no.
Friday: Got recruited by my neighbors to help unwrap new pool furniture for our complex.
Saturday: Pilates class followed by a trip out to L.A. for waxing and a facial. For the first time ever, my esthetician recommended an anti-aging, wrinkle-reducing, elasticity-enhancing nighttime serum. I am officially old. :-(
Sunday: Awkward bbq at FIL's.
I'm old, too. which serum did she recommend?
come on, guys, our families are filipino. they didn't teach tact in the homeland.
