doh!!
A temp started here today to cover a co worker while she is on maternity leave. She was intorduced to me by co worker. I could not see her bottom half (from below shoulders down) when she was introduced to me. She said "oh, I saw you earlier in the hall, when is your due date?" I replied "Sept. 19". She said "Mine's the 25th". I said "Oh, congrats!". She said "I'm not pregnant, that's my birthday"
shhhiiit. Well, she did make it sound like she was pregnant, right?!?!?! Apparently I saw her earlier this morning (ooops) so I should have known she wasn't. Either way, I feel like an asss.

I think it's totally understandable because of the way she said. It's her fault. She should have said my birthday is the 25th.
My sil is due the 17th and dh's birthday is the 18th. Sept is a good month.
It's besides the point what she looked like. I never make comments to pregnant people (or not) regardless of how big they are. I only did because she asked my due date and then said "mine is...." I didn't want to be rude.
I should have figured she wasn't pregnant because she will be covering the entire maternity leave for a co worker of mine who's only due a month ahead of me....so that wouldn't make sense that she was pregnant too. Oh well, there's nothing I can do now..
