walked across brooklyn bridge on Sunday
thanks to those who recommended this. we made it across just before it started to pour. the view was just great and i would totally suggest this to anyone heading to the city.
We also enjoyed the Guggenheim, walked all the way from our hotel at 57th street through Central Park up to the Met (no carriage ride or anything....just strolled through!)
We hit One if By land, Two if by Sea (and yes, two tables down someone popped the question). Also did Bubble Lounge and the Brandy Library.
so good times all around! we aim to do one of the Food Tours on our next trip

i liked the fact there were people toasting with champange all around for whatever reason (there was someone who got a PHd and another anniversary around us.)
i loved the artwork there

I have walked the Brooklyn Bridge numerous times and it is always such a little treat. Sounds like you hit up a bunch of the classic NYC stops. Too bad you didn't have better weather.
