WHYYYY are you having such a hard time, my little sweet pea? WHY?!
I don't get it. We had napping all sorted out. You were a pro. WTF is going on? You're a wreck when you don't sleep, yet you are fighting it. Between crying, screaming and all of a sudden wanting to play, you are avoiding sleep at all costs. What's up buttercup? Mommy doesn't get it.

Pretty sure that's how Dave feels about me right now. Not purdy when I don't get to sleep by 7:00 p.m. - it's getting a bit better though. I was up REAL late last night - like 9:30!!

OMG, it's only been just recently that I've been able to stay up until 9 or even *gasp* 9:30. I used to have to go to bed at 8:30 at the latest in order to feel rested enough when I got up in the morning.

Mom, why are you washing my feed in the sink?!
I've always had a picky napper. She requires restraint. The car seat. And in the early days the Ergo carrier. The stroller once in a while. She has NEVER napped in her crib/bassinet. (Oh yes, we tried.) She has napped in our bed a couple of times. (less than 10 since birth, though.) This week she's refused to nap at all. (And that left her nodding off at dinner.)
Does this make you feel better? lol. I don't think there is a more craptastic napper than my DD.
Morocco - yes, I do feel better now that I'm not alone!
Stewie - yup! She is sitting unassisted, plus we started cereal over a week ago.... and I believe she is teething harder than usual - she is touching her gums with her fingers (as opposed to ramming her fist in). Is gumming the objects and rubbing her mouth on everything. Sophie is getting mauled by the minute. Night time sleep has totally changed as well. Can't get her to sleep for longer than 3-4 hours at a time, and when you first put her down, she wakes up every hour on the hour, screaming like a mad woman. This has gone on for almost a week.
Nat I could have sworn I wrote this post. I know exactly how you feel!! It sucks because when they don't nap they are too tired to play and I think too tired to learn anything. DD gets so whiney and clingy and then mama gets whiney.
It's probably teething. DD got really bad just before her first 2 teeth popped out. I'm hoping this time around it's the same thing. I'm going to ask the pedi today at her 6 month check up.
