Holy cow I could never do this.

Alright, ?I have mentioned before that my friend just carried twins for a couple she had never met before the transfer. ?Well she had the babies three weeks before Scarlett was born... ?SHe is doing the surrogacy thing again already her FB status says she is cycling for an August Transfer. ?What?!? ?I don't even know how the doctors are allowing it. ?Because of Scarlett's size and the C-Section my doctor told me it would be extremely dangerous to get pregnant for at least a year. ?She carried twins and had a c-section.?

Wow.  That seems very irresponsible of the clinic.
  • As sad & hurt I could be for a friend or family member who couldn't have kids - I could never give up a baby. I know myself and that would be almost impossible to do, never mind a complete stranger..WOW she is brave and I honor her.

The good thing is that there are people in this world who would do this and it gives couples the ability to be parents.

    But WOW

  • Wow!  It is great that she is so keen to do this for another family, and obviously doesn't mind being pregnant.

Wow from me too!  I also had strict instructions not to get PG for a year after my c-section.  If things aren't completely healed it can cause an abruption in the uterus and well, the chances of a pregnancy continuing would be pretty darn slim.  I admire her ability to do this and give someone a child, but have to admit I think it is dangerous at this point.
