Wednesday

Good morning all.  Happy Hump Day.

Speaking of... that is the cheesiest ad and worst ad I've seen yet from the Nest.  "Plan your next "date" night with our ovulation calculator."  Oh... how romantic (made worst by the people in the ad that I think the picture was taken in 1992.)

I'm irritable today... It's hot.  It's humid.  And I went to McD's for an iced coffee this morning and instinctively ordered what I normal do: nonfat, SF vanilla LATTE.  HOT.  Confused  I can't wait for next Monday (something I never thought I'd hear myself say!)  It's supposed to only be 80!

Re: Wednesday

  • Morning.

I have tom. off so I'm in a good mood. :)

Paula - I said the same thing about seeing that 'date night' ad. Ick!

  • I hate this weather.  I really prefer not to have the AC on, I like the windows open.  They have been stuck shut for almost a week now.  To make matters worse, I open the door to let the dog out and 5 damn flies come in the house.  I HATE flies, especially when they buzz around your head and keep banging into the damn window.

So, yes, it appears I'm in a happy mood today.

Paula, can you put your lattee in the fridge and then add your own ice, once it cools off enough?

  • Morning girls, I am so happy the week is almost half over. Today raining for the millionth day in the row, it's definately starting to bum me out. I think I would take it over hot and humid weather anyday though.
  • I am not in such a great mood either.  I am back home because it wasn't smart from a health perspective to be 2 hours away from my doctors and the hospital I am delivering at.  We are in separate rooms and move about and do our separate things for the most part.  My sister is here for a couple of days too so that makes it a little easier for me.

One of the things we had decided to do was get all the windows replaced.  Well, they did them on Monday and Tuesday.  When he came home last night, the sliding glass door has some scratches on it and one of the windows in the bedroom has some scratches on it too.  Of course it's my fault for not going around and check everything.  Yeah, I can't even put my panties on myself (my legs from the top of my thighs down to my toes are swollen - and thankfully my sister is here to help me) but let me walk up and down stairs and everything else to check things out.  Ughhh.

  • Melanie, I took the lid off and just let it sit to cool off.  I also turned my space heater on fan and stuck it under my desk to help cool me off (even with the AC on here at work.  It was HUMID in here when I got here.)

BUT, *crosses fingers, knocks on wood, whatever else you're supposed to do* MH had a valid point last night: if it's this hot this long so early in the summer, hopefully this is as bad as it's going to get at all.  And we'll swing down to highs of about 80 next week and hopefully stay there.

Because if we're going to have a summer of nothing BUT this, I will cry.  I will - no joke - need medication to help me cope because I can't deal with this kind of heat/humidity.

(Oh, and yes, we officially broke a record yesterday at 95 before the heat index.  That was just in Green Bay - 15 miles West of us were riding about 97-98, but no one broke the 100 mark.  They forecasted yesterday we'd be about 92 for a high and we were well above that.  So today they've forecasted 95... do you think we'll break that and more records? Confused)

  • Good morning.  I am in a good mood today.
  • Good morning!  I was late this morning and the internet was down all morning.  Been an okay day so far.  I've got a lot of stuff to get done.

  • Morning! I got a good night's sleep last night because Declan went 6 hours without needing to be fed! :) And he lost his umbilical stump this morning which means we can take baths now which I think he'll love!

Kristi sorry to hear things aren't going well with Blair. But I'm glad the windows are all installed so that's 1 less thing you have to worry about.

  • I guess I have to say good afternoon since I didn't check in earlier!

Today is a good day.  I found out that I may get one offer on my house this week, possibly two!  Who-hoo!

Kristi: I'm so sorry about how things are with you and Blair right now.  Maybe once the babies are born he'll see that he needs to be there for the three of you.

Kristin: be sure to take tons of pics of Declan's first bath!!!
