argh! AC is broken
I just lugged our AC upstairs to put in the window. ?I cleaned it, I put it in the window with all it's stuff to keep the bugs out. Turned it on and NADDA! ?It then worked said the room temp was 34degrees. and then five seconds later it said it was 17 and the thermostat turned it off. ? Ya not 17 degrees in here. ?Not even close.?

so annoying!
this is the third summer in a row that we have had to have someone come and replace the freon (sp?). every year it runs out. they say there is a leak but it will take about a week to fix. Of course I never think about the air con until we need it the most and can't wait a week.
this year I'm having it fixed in september. it's ridiculous to have it and not really be able to use it (not that we use it that much - just when it's uber hot. I like opening windows whenever possible). Now with the kitten I don't want him to over heat in the house too.
Wow of course you couldn't. ?We went to Jamaica when I was 6 months pregnant and I have never been so glad to be coming back to Canadian winter.?
It's super hot here too and we have no AC.
Hoping to have it installed this weekend *fingers crossed the tech is free*
