It appears that my painters have gone A.W.O.L.
DH had a meeting with the builders yesterday. The one who has become a thorn in my side and made all the errors dudn't do much talking...his business partner did. DH got the impression that the business partner hadn't realized just how bad the situation was, and made alot of apologies.
Anyway, seems that the new issue is that the painters have pulled a disappearing act! They need to come back to do a 2nd coat and touchups and they have pulled no-shows twice, and are supposed to come today, but no one is sure if they're going to show. Nice. So, if they don't come today, my possession is pushed back by about a week. Seriously. Seriously.
Have I said before that this house is going to be the death of me? Cause I think it will be.

No show twice??? That is ridiculous. I've heard there's a labour shortage out in SK though, so maybe they can get away with that crap without fear of losing their jobs?
I hope they show up soon so your possession date doesn't get moved.
I went through this a couple of years ago, swore i'd never build a home again. So you have my sympathies.
