diaper poll

what kind do you use? we use huggies snug & dry. never had a problem w/them. but i'm on diapers.com & some complaints are red marks. they do leave red marks but i thought all diapers did this. am i wrong? huggies natural fit got pretty good reviews. one person even commented "no red marks"

Re: diaper poll

  • I get Pampers baby dry. No complaints here, but I guess they leave marks, just around the leg bands.
  • We don't like the snug and dry, we like the Huggies Supremes (the ones in the red box/bag, not the one in the white bags.) Ours don't really leave red marks. We are going to try the Costco brand now that they fit in size 1. HTH
  • I didn't know they weren't suppose to leave red marks. :/ I mean you're suppose to have them on tight so they dont' pee/poop through right? idk.
  • We've been using Pampers Baby Dry or Cruisers (for the kiddo). ?

For some reason, my boys have diaper blow outs with Huggies. ?And I didn't like that I'd find crystal-like things in the diaper when I'd change a wet one.

    ?

Wipes on the other hand? I LOVE Huggies wipes! ?

  • I never really thought about the red mark either. But I use Huggies Snug and Dry and Mary gets them almost every diaper change. Hmm...Also has had the crystal like things. Like maybe 2 or 3 diaper changes. Didn't know what it was. Thought it was cream or something.

Wasn't really a fan of Pampers. I like the poop catch in the huggies.

Also, Tiff. I really like the Costco diapers but didn't get them because they cost more and are really the same thing as the huggies. hth

  • I like the Pampers Cruisers for Sarah.  The others just didn't seem to fit her right with her super-skinny legs/thighs and tiny waist...she always leaked out of the others.  These stay on really well with all of the running she does (as you all saw at the GTG at Becki's! Big Smile).  Before we put her in the Cruisers we used the Pampers Swaddlers.

  • For isabel we used the swaddlers than the cruisers than switch to huggies for her pull ups. for some reason the pamper pull ups give her a rash at the waistband.

Joaquin the same-swaddlers to cruisers, he just moved to size 5 by the way.

poor thing. why are you scared? :(

  • If he keeps growing and eating the way he is our grocery bill and clothing bills will be huge. We are hoping he just does what Isabel did, rocket growth in the first six months than just slow growth after that and eventually just even out.
  • :( i hope so too.

Today was my first visit to diapers.com & the discounts are pretty good. I saved .32 per jar and an extra 10% off (code 10percent). check it out. I was telling lori this find couldn't come at a better time. hopefully you can find good deals too.

  • I definitely plan on looking thru them.

PS I just found out diapers.com is also a member of ebates. It's only 1% but eery penny counts. Plus they have additional coupons.

    I've never heard of ebates.

It's a site that is linked to a bunch of popular websites and when you order from those sites ebates give you cash back, plus they offer coupons. I ordered almost all my xmas gifts from there, used all the free shipping offers and other coupons so I saved a bunch than ended up getting a $60 check from ebates.

  • awesome! I'm adding them to my favorites. I love great finds like this.

Wow!  Sarah's still in a 3 and in desperate times, when she "sucks it in", I can still get her in a 2!  Stick out tongue

  • We use the Costco brand of diaper and wipes and love them. We never have red marks or crystals, no poop blowouts.

P just got into a size 4 but still fits his size 3s that we have left.

Kristy actually I compared the Huggies cost vs the Kirkland brand and the Huggies was 4.1 c a diaper and the Kirkland was 1.8 c a diaper so way cheaper.

Now that was when P was first born but I doubt it's change that much in 11 months and anyway I hate prefer the Kirkland over Huggies anyway.

I checked on the Costco diapers like 2 weeks ago and they are definetly cheaper than the Huggies (especially if you are going to buy the Huggies @ Target/Wal*Mart) but even when buying the Huggies @ Costco, the Kirkland brand was cheaper.

I am going with Huggies because those are the free ones that Ellen gave us, then will switch to Kirkland because Baby Bargians gave them the best reviews.

  • I never broke it down to cost/diaper but noticed that you get more in the huggies for only pennies more. I should've done the math. My friend swears by those diapers.

Thanks, Brandy! I am glad I am not the one asking this.Smile

Now they make it easier to figure out. On the "price sticker" it says "Price per unit" or something like that and the Huggies are like .03 more, per diaper.

::thinking to self.... where did I put that paper I wrote it down on....?::

    Yep what Sharra said

They break it down for you on the sticker and it was about 3 cents cheaper for the Kirkland diapers. Plus it's so convenient buying the diapers in bulk and not running out all the time.

  • I buy the huggies at costco. I didn't see a price per unit. Guess i didn't look close enough.
  • I haven't had to buy diapers yet, and won't for a while. I got tons for my baby shower, and Tiffy was kind enough to give me some that the twins outgrew. I like the Pampers Swaddlers best, but all the Huggies have been okay too. I notice red marks with all of them, but I too assumed it was normal.
