Good morning everyone. What's going on for today? Anything good?
This morning Mary woke me up at 4:15 (I usually get up at 4:30). I went to the bathroom and was leaving and thinking to myself "why is it so dark in the bedroom?" I walked toward the door and ran into it. It was closed. I was SO tired. My eyes weren't completely open I guess. I am still laughing about it. I fed Mary, went back to bed and slept in 45 mins. I feel better. The weird part...I was still on time to work.
Nothing planned for today. Hopefully pick up the house a little. I've really neglected it. Been really lazy.
Have a good day.
Re: Good Morning (thur)
hehe that made me laugh a little.
We had a relaxing night. I picked up Vines for dinner. We were home most of the night with people coming to buy baby gear. DH let me keep a Quinny and I put it together last night. I guess we're retiring the Bugaboo for now. I can't believe I now get excited over strollers...*sigh*
Here's the one we have, E loves it : )
Today is my Friday!! I can't wait for the weekend.
I'm shooting a charity event tomorrow for an 11 year old with breast cancer. It's so sad but she seems like such a strong little girl.
Wow. I've never heard of somebody so young with breast cancer. I didn't know you could get it that young. So sad!
Val-How much are the high chairs? Any of them really. I kinda want to get one for the IL's house. Any booster seats?
I know. It is very sad. Life just isn't fair sometimes. Makes me count my blessings.
The high chairs are $50 (except the Cosco one, that one is $15, it's a cheapie). There's only one left of the Eddie Bauer...

Kristy: hee hee I thought falling asleep while pumping was funny. You win.
Val:
the color.
Nothing too exciting going on tonight. P picked up a few applications last night *sigh* I'm really hoping I get a phone call/interview soon.
Morning, so glad its Thursday!
Last night tried a new recipe for dinner that I had saved on my google reader and it was meh. I was planning on making brownies but never got around to it.
Today lots of meetings and lots of work. H's friend is coming by to pick up some stuff he had stored at our house while he was in between homes and I'm so excited to have my guest room back!
You feel asleep while pumping?! I think you win.
Val - love the stroller! I'm totally gonna check out your blog right now ....
Tonight is a retirement party for my dad at his station. His last day isnt until next week, but they're going to do a final call and stuff (hes a firefighter). I'm in disbelief that hes retiring. Gonna drive my mom nuts!
Kristy, LOL!
Uneventful night yesterday. DH and I watched a couple of episodes of Heroes and then it seemed like the night was over. I don't have anything planned today, except be home and maybe do some Wii Fit (if R will sleep long enough to let me).
Chili porkchops? Do share!
I know the feeling well. But I say enjoy it while you can. There won't be that much more time that you will be able to get away with being that lazy so enjoy!
Yup, I went to bed that night (it was during my am pumping) at 8:30.
Thanks, Kristy. I don't feel so bad now. Really, these past few days I have just feeling like staying in and not doing anything. I am sure if it is pregnancy hormones or just me being lazy... maybe both.
I think I am still worn out from work, too. The last few months were tough, so I think now I just want to relax.
Good morning, so I didnt make it home in time to see Jared (my husband) :0( I ended up with almost 2hours of O.T. by the time I left this place last night :0(
I was able take my son and his friend to Bass Pro, it was so cute to watch them practice Archery :0) by the time all that was done we didnt get home till after 9 so I stopped off and bought the boys Bakers for dinner and I went and picked up "Rice Soup" from this Thai resteraunt in Highland Jared and I.
It sucks lately we only see eachother for an hour or so before bed and thats only cuz I make myself stay up to spend time with him.
Sylvia-I feel the same way. H and I work opposite days so somebody is home with Mary. I feel like when I get home all I do is clean and play with Mary and we just don't get alone time together. I would settle for family time at this point.
Morning.
Yesterday was rough. DH got halfway to work (on empty), pulled into a gas station and realized he didn't have his wallet. I drove it down to him and right after I left the gas station he called to say the car wouldn't start. So I went back to wait with him while he had someone jump it.
Neither of us ever made it work because we were both so late by that point. We treated ourselves to pizza for dinner.
I didn't do anything last night except read and dh had class. I did harvest my crop on FT but didn't get around to replanting anything.
Tonight, dh wants to ask the il's if they want to come over and BBQ. So we might be doing that this evening.
I found this a couple of weeks ago and haven't tried any yet since I"m still doing the 30 Day Challenge (on the Active) but I'm going to start incorporating these workouts in with my Wii Fit.

There are all different kinds of "routines" that you can do from strength training to cardio. Looks kinda cool!
Last night we went to Best Buy and I got the Active exercise thing for the Wii. So far I like it. We'll see what the results are. I'll probably still use the fit to do the body test since the Active doesn't weigh me or anything. Than we went to In-N-Out for dinner. We hadn't been there in so long, it was so yummy. I destroyed my calorie limit for the day. So worth it. Then we went to teh T-Mobile store to check out new phones for H. The guy said that if we wait until September to get him a new phone than we can get the new customer prices, so we'll wait. We went home, I played with the new Active, watched Wipeout, took a shower and crashed. I love not having class.
Lori~ Thanks for the Link! I'll have to check it out. I'm really wanting to get the most uses out of the Wii Fit as I can!
LOL love it.
Yesterday was the same as normal. Isabel and I made brownies again-DH finished our last batch.
Today the same.
Kristy-DH once put two diapers on Joaquin. Not two stuck together. But one completely fastened and than another one completely fastened. And didn't discovered it till the next diaper change.
K & S-Dh and I are the same way. I work the mornings and he works the nights, so we see each other for about 10min during the switch. Than maybe I'll still be awake when he comes home and we usually just say hi and goodnight.
Thanks Lori. I think I can manage to squeeze some of those in sometime during the day.
