As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I think what is missing is the quotes after "ahref" part... for example mine looks like this (MINUS THE STARS)

Try this: remove the stars

In the editing post window you can use the button that looks like a chain link when the URL or text is highlighted.
As someone who knows about web stuff, doing a tiny URL does nothing. Some people's works blog tiny URL's so I would avoid doing Tiny pics and Tiny URLs.
A nice alternative to Tinyurl is tr.im if you MUST use something! http://tr.im
