How did you meet your husband?
My husband hired me to work at VoiceStream when I was in college, red hair, tongue piercing, braces. Hot. I followed him to another job, and shortly after I went to work at another company, I called him and asked him out (about 3 years after we met). I'd been nursing a crush for awhile, so thought, "What the hell, if he says no, I'll never have to see him again."
You?
Re: OMG SO BORED Poll
I was in a co-ed fraternity for business majors back in college. When I moved down here, I volunteered to be an advisor for a local chapter in order to meet people, have something to do, etc. At the time, H was getting his MBA and had joined the fraternity. We ran into each other casually at regional meetings and events for about a year. Then we hooked up while drunk at a party. Then H sent me an e-mail which made his intent about wanting to date me clear. Since I was sort of dating someone at the time (bad, I know), I deleted the e-mail and tried to dodge him at events for the next few months. But then I broke up with the other dude, went to another frat party, got drunk again, hooked up with H again and the rest is history.
So klassy.

It was NOT normal for 19-year-old girls to be trolling the internet for boyfriends in 1998, which is why we kept this story a secret for many a year.

What happens when you work with all women!?!
I'm late. But here goes.
We met at ladies night at a club in Del Mar.
Innocent enough, no? Until I tell you that it was ladies night at club Del Mar on the Camp Pendleton military base. Yes. The E-club (translation: the enlisted man's club). Ratio of men to women? About 20:1.
Moted.
