Okay I want to go into town today with a couple of friends, it was a spur of the moment kinda thing and I didn't really have time to pump (I can only get two onces every feeding) ?Normally I would just feed the baby in the car but it's already 30 degrees out and I think we would both poach. ?Scarlett will not eat if she is covered up. ?I cover her up and she snaps my nipples. ?Like bites down hard pulls back and lets go. ?It hurts like a mother effer. ? Anyways I was thinking that maybe I could get formula for occasional use. ?SHe has had it before and been fine going back to the boob so I was wondering what a good brand would be just to have for cases like today. ?I have no idea what kind she had before because it was some my brother had and they switch brands all the time.?

Re: A formula question
We went through a ton of brands before we found the right one. One thing I would suggest though is smaller cans if its just for occasional use...the 1 month rule applies for powdered formula.
Or, even though its not the funnest thing to do...put on a nursing tank top, a loose shirt and nurse in public. I have had to do it before and even though I was completely uncomfortable with the ppl staring, my little man still fed and was happy. Some malls and stuff even have nursing rooms.
