4th of July plans?
What's everyone planning this weekend? Anything exciting??

My brother and SIL live in Jacobus so we go there for the day because they have activities beginning at 9 and running through fireworks. I'll leave sometime in the afternoon to hang out with Hanna for a few hours before going back in the evening for a cook out and fireworks, which you can see from their neighbor's yard. 4th of July is my 2nd favorite holiday
Party and picnic with friends. Dog show some other day on the weekend. Yay for a three day weekend!

Saturday - my parents always host a cookout, since July 4th is also my grandmother's birthday. We'll be there all day hanging out and eating.
Sunday - DH's band is doing an outdoor concert on the lawn, so, with whatever friends/family end up here with me for that, we'll have a picnic as we listen to the music - fingers crossed for good weather!
... every single day of forever.
I had to chuckle when I saw "Jacobus". That's where we will be, but I didn't expect anyone else to say that...lol.
We are doing this too - hopefully we get to see the Nookie Monster! Saturday we are having a big party. We can see the fireworks from the 4th Fest from our back yard so we always have a big shin-dig. Sunday I'll be cleaning up and probably recovering from a hangover. lol
...and for those of you who don't know about the Nookie Monster...please, indulge yourself. He is the BEST EVER!

we're partying saturday and sunday at some friends' house. Saturday is the "let's drink" party and Sunday is the "let's recover" party.
DH will be working his new job Friday, and may be getting sworn in (not sure). Either way, I'm off so if he does get sworn in, I'll be going to that!
I am so jealous of you all in PA - especially those of you who will be in State College- tear!
Today is the first day in almost 3 weeks that it's been below 102 degrees - ugh! One day we hit 107, it has not been fun!
We don't have big plans, just BBQing with friends and relaxing. I have off on Friday, so excited

DH and I both have off on Friday. That day we're expecting multiple deliveries at the house: shingles, siding, lumber, lawn mower parts AND the refrigerator repairman is coming to take a look at our refrigerator.
Saturday we have my family's annual 4th of July party. It's crazy, but so much fun!!!
Sunday will be the day we do our work around the house etc. and realize that Monday is back to the same old grind
