I just got a msg from Angie tonight. It looks like "Spud" is wanting to possibly come very early. Here is a C & P of the msg that Angie wanted me to post for all of you. Please send her lots of positive vibes for baby to stay put a bit longer.
I went for my 30 wk us this am. They found that my cervix is funneling, length is only 3mm (should be 3 - 5 cm) got sent to hospital asap for steroid shots, they also found that I am 2cm dilated and contracting. I'm here over night, will get 2nd steroid shot tomorrow morning. Might get to go home tomorrow if I haven't dilated more but will be on strict bedrest with home care nurse until baby arrives. They are saying at this point they hope I can make it to 32 to 34 week but highly unlikely I will get to 37 wks. I'm also waiting for the nicu Dr. To come talk to me about what might happen to baby at this point in time

Angie, you're in my thoughts.
I almost had to have DS at 28 weeks. They stopped my contractions with a suppository of some sort. The NICU doctor spiel is freaky, but at 30 weeks the baby is almost guaranteed to survive and be normal. They thought DS would be quite early as well, but he was 3 days overdue. So you never know. All the best to her, and hopefully she can keep Spud in for another couple months.
Dear god! I hope she and the baby are okay. she must be so scared.
Thoughts and prayers are with her and her DH, and the baby today.
