Which Blackberry should I get?

Any thoughts appreciated....I know nothing about them.  I have heard good and bad things about the storm.  I really just want something for Outlook email, calendar, phone, and facebook (so I can perpetuate my addiction).

Re: Which Blackberry should I get?

  • I love my iphone.  Is that an option?

this - it's a lot more internet friendly.  if you need a blackberry, i'd recommend the bold.

  • unfortunately i'm on verizon, so unless I want to switch me and DH, I have to stick with a blackberry
  • The LG touch phone that's out is the most similar to the AT&T Iphone, I believe.
  • my sister returned her touch because she did not like it. ?my dh has an iphone and i just stick with verizon because all of my friends and family have verizon. ?we would go broke! ?haha ?i want a blackberry for when we move. ?
  • I have the Blackberry Storm and I do not recommend it.  It's all touch screen and I have some of the smallest fingers in the world and they're too big for this phone.  It's more frustrating than anything.  I'd recommend something with a keyboard (my sister have the Curve and loves it).
  • BB Curve...I love mine and have had it for almost 2 years.  I tried out the Iphones in the store and honestly hated it.  As for internet...the internet on them works great after you download a better app to view it than the regular browser.  Download Opera Mini and you'll be good to go.  For BB info I would check out www.crackberry.com.  There are reviews from techies and people who work in the industry along with all kinds of support/help.
  • I have an LG Dare, and after playing with the Storm, I really prefer the Dare.  I would love the keyboard on the Curve though so my vote would be for the Curve.

  • I like my BB pearl.  It's smaller than the regular BB, which works out well for me since I didn't want anything clunky.
  • I have a Curve and love it.  I thought the storm would be too hard to get used to, because you have to hover, then press when you type.  And DH was unsure how reliable it was - would the touch screen stop working, etc.

The Worldphone had the best keyboard for lots of typing, but no camera or video feature.

  • I have the pearl and my fiance has the curve, I love my pearl but am ready to switch to the Curve since it has a true QWERTY keyboard and a bigger screen, but if you don't like its size, the pearl is a great way to go :)
