Thank you's

I just finished all my thank-you's! I feel bad, because its been about a month since my wedding, but the time just got away from me! I plan on sending them out tomorrow.

Anyone else a thank you card slacker? Stick out tongue (And I know technically you have a couple of months to get them out)

We just finished ours. They've been done for a week or so, waiting for DH to sign them. I went ahead and did them all, just because I was on a roll. He was upset that I just didn't sign his name. They went out in the mail this morning. It will be two months on thursday.

Yesterday was the one month mark and I just started ours! But, I had to wait for the Thank You photo and order them. I am hoping to get them all done this week and in the mail early next week.

Yeah its been well over a month and I'm just starting ours this week. I ordered photo thank you's from VP and they are coming in tomorrow. Hopefully we can knock them out this weekend!

It's been almost 2 months since our wedding and I still haven't finished all of ours. I'm about half way done. I hope to finish them up by the end of this weekend and get them out next week sometime.

Oh, Lord, I JUST started mine this past weekend and I'm only halfway through with mine. Joe's still got all of his to do (although he had about half the number to do than I had). I will say in my defense, though, that I've been waiting until I had my Thank You pictures on CD so I can include a wallet size. My CD won't be here for a while, though, since my photographer is out of town on a family emergency and won't have it to mail to us until she gets home. I'm hoping that once I do get it, though, that my notes will be all done and addressed so all I'll have to do is include a picture and send them off

I got ours done on the HM. I still need to do the ones for the vendors, but I'm waiting on pictures of flowers, cake, etc. That's a neat idea to put in a wedding photo with them. I wish I would've made some "We moved" cards to put them in there, but hopefully they saw it on the return address.

I mailed mine out on the one month mark, so don't feel bad PE! I think guests understand that we get busy with the wedding, honeymoon, and for some of us (like me) moving. I still have a couple more to write for people who sent us gifts after the wedding... I guess I'll do that today!

We were gone for 2.5 weeks for our honeymoon though, so we didn't really get a chance to start until two days ago (5 weeks post-wedding). Got about 1/3 done, will tackle the rest of them over my 4 day weekend coming up.

And I adamantly refused to bring anything wedding-related on our long honeymoon, including the gift list or stationery.

I don't consider myself a thank you note slacker as I've had a life to get back after the honeymoon! I'm also waiting on my FIL to send us the file for the photo we are including and decide what else we are going to do with them. They will get done by the end of July. It would be nice to get them done before then but etiquette-wise we are well within reason!

I had almost all of mine done the week after the honeymoon but we had a few more gifts that came in after we got back and some that were sent to my mom's house that we got later. I had everything sent by the one month mark, though. I wanted them done and over with so I could move in from wedding stuff.

Evan and I finished the week after our honeymoon because we wanted to have them out of the way before we started packing and moving. All the ones we received after that, I just wrote last night.

We're 1 month today, and they are almost done. We agreed that FI would write the notes for his guests, I would write for mine. Turns out that most of my family sent gifts ahead of time, and most of his brought them to the wedding. So I had far less to write after. He's almost done, though!

I know it's horrible, but I'm not going to be able to get ours out until after the 2 month mark. DH already did all of his, but I need to do all of mine still. I started studying for the bar the day we got back from the HM though, and I won't finish taking it until July 29. Everything will be out by the 1st week of August though. I think it'll be ok since everyone knows I've been totally swamped with this whole exam thing.

I haven't started! We just received our wedding proofs and cd so I am going to order them this week. Eeeek. Time has just flown by since the wedding and we have just been trying to settle back into normal life. I do feel bad about it!

I have all of mine done and DH has 4 more to do. Not too bad!

1 month out from the wedding is not slacking so I wouldn't worry about it! I think TK even says that you are okay up to 2 months from the wedding.

I guess I'm the early one. I did all the pre-wedding and wedding gifts and sent them out 2 weeks ago. As I get gifts delivered, I write the note. I just signed my name and DH's name. There's only one that he needs to write and it's for the gift his company gave us.

We got ours all finished about a week after the HM but we have one that we haven't sent out yet (just got the gift last week - she wanted to give it to us in person) and we haven't sent SIL a card or her gift yet for doing a reading at the wedding. We're thinking about just waiting until she comes home again (she lives in Chicago) to give it to her in person.
