Currently I'm listening to CBC Radio 2...they're playing all Canadian, but it's a nice diverse selection...not all Nickleback (I'm betting there will be NO Nickleback)

we're about to go for a family walk... which must include throwing rocks for Noah's sanity. not too much else planned yet. I'd like to nap this afternoon though, I'm exhausted!

I'm so so so very proud to be a citizen of this country
Today my DH and I are going out to a park with a group of people. He will be playing aussie rules football today (he does all year) and the league is playing a variety of games (i.e. not regular teams but rookies vs old timers, aussies vs canadians). There will be lots of friends out plus a BBQ. then tonight we'll probably come home and sit on the roof to watch the fireworks.
pretty relaxed day. fingers crossed the rain holds off!

I'm enjoying having DH home in the middle of the week, although he feels a bit ripped off over not getting a long weekend. Our big plan is to walk up to Baskin-Robbins for a treat after the little guy's next feeding. Woohoo!
I'm laying low, since I'm not feeling that great, and DH is working. Sucks for us but the bank account says thanks:)
I'm also missing my parents - Canada Day is huge with us. My dad does fireworks and it's a tradition for us to head up to Sicamous where my dad does the show from a barge in Shuswap Lake. They have orders to take lots of pictures since we can't be there:(
