WI just passed the law that you can be pulled over EXCLUSIVELY for not wearing your seatbelt.

Re: Seatbelt Poll
Paula, I think there is a way you can turn that off. My mom had a focus that did that and in the instruction manual for the car, there was a section about how to turn the beeping off. It was a serious of really stupid clicks that you had to do with the seatbelt. We were laughing our asses off about the methods to turn the damn beeping off.
ROFL, Jen. Lurker?
Exactly what I was thinking...so our "lurker" thinks it's a bad idea....riiiight. Hmm, I have my guesses of who this lurker is.
You crack me up. LOL But I suspect we're on the same page.
I am sure we are, we usually are.
Money-hungry politicians made sure it passed in time to get some of the stimulus money to help enforce it. They can nail you for it before now, but needed to have another reason to pull you over.

Okay, the cars beeping can get annoying (like if Greg takes his seatbelt off to dig for his wallet? It beeps at him before he can get it out, dig out his card, hit the ATM, and put it back in his pocket), but it's a great feature.
Gee, you should tell your friend that she should just randomly have unprotected sex with AS MANY people as possible, drink as much as possible, eat whatever she wants, and overall really try and speed up death. LOL (You know I'm kidding here, which is the only reason I'm saying it.)
Does go to show, though... people may appear to be gone, but obviously aren't entirely.
