I have decied to get this one

The pump comes out of the bag (unlike the other PISAs) so you can put batteries in it and walk around.
A friend of mine suggested the Freestyle for those reasons, but it's more $$ and people complain that it doesn't work that well "hands free" and I know that you can use a sports bra with holes or rubber bands hooked to your bra to make any pump "hands free"
Looking at the reviews on BRU people who used the hospital's Symphony said that it's very similar, and the friend of mine EBF #1 for 13 months and is going strong with #2 @ 10 months.
I looked into hospital rentals, and they are anywhere from $1.67 -$3.00 a day plus the kit for yourself ($50). I wish that they were more affordable ro rent, or buy for like $500. ![]()
Re: Breast pump
pics of you walking around & pumping are requested.
hahahahaha
ditto on the weird looking bra.
I can't wait for pics
GIRL... be carefull what you wish for! You just might get it! LOL!!
I looked into that funny bra, everyone says it's a must! Even if I don't walk around with it, not being tied to an outlet would be nice... esp when you have to pee! LOL!!
I must be weird because if I'm pumping and I have to pee I turn it off, put it down and go. But that rarely happens because I pee before I start.
I think I'm with Kristy on this one. The idea of liquid expelling from 2 parts of my body at once skeeves me out, lol!
EWWWWWWW!!
Your pee fumes are going to contaminat the milk
LOL!!!!!!
So true! I actually get really mad when I'm on my period and I get a bloody nose at the same time. (yes, it's happened)
medela has a battery pack and a car adapter. With Isabel the place where I pumped at work had no outlet so I had to use the battery pack. That was a hassle always having to change out the batteries.
And I don't think I could walk around while pumping. The only reason I would really go handsfree is to be able to read or eat while pumping, or nest.
