finally finished painting!
We finally got the last room in the house painted! The only reason it wasn't done sooner is because we had to take down wallpaper and we were both dreading it. We finally decided to do it on Sunday and I found out DH is a PRO at removing wall paper! lol The color is very, very bright! lol I'll get some pics of all the rooms this week and post them.
AND! we harvested our first cucumber out of our garden today!
Finally! A Plant I couldn't kill!!!! (*that's totally due to all the rain we've been having and me not worrying about forgetting to water the garden! lol)
Re: finally finished painting!
Great job! Be sure to post pics, I love to look at everyones home makeovers.
What did you do to get your wallpaper down? That is a project I am going to need to do in the next few weeks.
That is awesome! Enjoy your cucumber, ours are ready to be picked too.
We got the wallpaper scorer tool and then used Pirhana liquid wall paper remover (got it at Lowes). You mix 6oz of that with a gallon of hot water (I didn't quite use that mixture since I was using a spray bottle) and then we ended up putting it on a sponge and wiping the wallpaper til it was saturated and then using the wallpaper scraper to scrape it off. We found if you get the top part of the wallpaper off, wet the adhesive again, and then scrape it makes your life so much easier.
