I had my glucose tolerance test on friday and i just found out i failed...well I was borderline so i have to go back for a 3-hour test!!! bleh...how many strikes can i have against me!
Re: boo..
On the bright side I read that more often than not women go on to pass the three hours so here's hoping!
But that totally blows =(
hope you pass!
I'm sorry! I'm sure you'll be fine at the 3 hour!
If not, as a diabetic I can tell you that everything will be fine with you and the babies! I am type 2 and was on oral meds before pg and was put on insulin when I got pg. It wasn't hard to do...I just kept reminding myself that it was all for a healthy baby!
Oh that stinks!?
I failed the one hour test both pregnancies.
For the first one, I failed the 3 hour one, but since my #'s were borderline, the dr. just put me on a restricted diet, but I still had to check my levels after every meal.
For the 2nd one, I passed the 3 hour test with flying colors. ?I think it was bc the kiddo was with me & ?I was chasing after him as we waited for the time to pass instead of sitting in the chair.
?
GL on the 3 hours test!?
BLEH! Those suck!!
I failed the 1 hr, freaked out, then passed the 3 hour just fine.
GL!
