My doggie ran away!
I don't post much but I just needed to put this out there.
My 4year old Chihuahua got out from my SIL's house yesterday afternoon. I don't know where to start calling or contacting since I'm not familiar with the area. I've searched and searched the surrounding blocks but nothing.It's the Anaheim/Fullerton area right by the 91FWY. Help please TIA!

Have you tried calling the local animal sheltors to see if someone turned him in?
I hope you find him
Was he wearing a collar? Microchipped?
Have you put up flyers? Talked to the neighborhood children (who are more likely to spot the dog than an adult)?
Contacted the shelter to put in a lost dog alert? Gone down to the OC Shelter? Checked their online page: http://petadoption.ocpetinfo.com/animal2/lostfound/FoundList.asp?type=Dog

I've called the Santa Ana Animal Shelter, FOCHP, & OC Animal Care but nothing yet .. anyone know of any other numbers/ shelters?
In that area OC Animal Care handles all pick-ups. Have you actually gone down to the shelter to look? They may mislabel your dog's breed, colors, age, etc. The list I linked should be a good start but does not replace a visit. You didn't state M or F, but A0965443 looks somewhat like your dog.

You'll definitely want to go to the OC Animal Care Center (the shelter). They won't be able to tell you over the phone if they picked up your dog; they have hundreds of animals at that facility.

I don't have any good advice, the other ladies pretty much covered it. Just wanted to say I'm so sorry!
A friend of mine lost his little dog a couple months ago and it returned after 2 weeks! They found her going through the garbage on the side of their house....I hope your pup returns safely!
